Galvanized steel coil can be divided into the following categories according to the production and processing methods:
(1) hot dip galvanized. The sheet is dipped into a melted zinc tank so that the surface is adhered to a zinc sheet. At present, continuous galvanizing process is mainly used in the production, that is, continuous immersion of sheets into the melting zinc bath to make galvanized sheet;
(2)Alloying zinc plating. The plate is also made by hot dipping, but immediately after it comes out of the tank, it is heated to about 500 degrees to create an alloy coating of zinc and iron. This galvanized sheet has good coating tightness and weldability;
(3) Galvanizing. It has good workability to make this galvanized sheet by electroplating. But the coating is thin, corrosion resistance is not as good as hot dip galvanized sheet;
(4) Single-side plating and double-side plating.
